Principles of Ethical Purchasing in Prewise Companies
Prewise’s corporate responsibility is, according to internationally generalised 'Triple Bottom Line' –way of thinking, divided to economical responsibility, environmental responsibility and social responsibility.
Prewise develops products and services that improve the growth and development of individuals and companies. Prewise is there to help its customers to implement business changes in organisations and different interest groups.
Prewise executes its values by following the principles of corporate responsibility, that are:
- Prewise operates responsibly in its relations to interest groups and society.
- Prewise promotes continuous dialogue and long-lasting relationships with partners, customers, employees and other interest groups.
- Prewise’s corporate responsibility is, according to internationally generalised 'Triple Bottom Line' –way of thinking, divided to economical responsibility, environmental responsibility and social responsibility.
- In terms of environment Prewise operates in responsible and sustainable way. The objective is to ensure that the environmental impacts of products and services throughout their whole life cycle will be taken into account and that the existing processes burden the environment as little as possible.
Prewise encourages its suppliers and customers in an environmentally sustainable development, to engage in ethical conduct, to follow national and international laws and to respect human rights according to internationally recognised ethical standards.
Ethical principles are based on international contracts of ILO, UN’s declaration of Human Rights and the Rights of the Child and to the principles of UN Global Compact.
Implementation of ethical principles must cover all parties from the supplier’s own operations to the whole supply chain, including all subcontractors. If needed, Prewise executes evaluations on realisation of ethical principles.
